Please find the below requirement with our client in TX Title : GIS Consultant Location : Midland TX Duration : 3 Months - Maintain a robust Field Data Collection (FDC) process and tools which can adjust to the changing regulatory environment and remain current to changing business needs - Act as the single point of contact or product support of software and hardware for all users. This will be interfacing with the end users, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with tool usage - Coordinate with Chevron ETC (Energy Technology Company) database group and MCBU IT GIS team - Coordinate and manage testing and approving of FDC equipment and software with IT and software vendor. - Manage product work flow and implement changes as needed (ex. work flows, map creation, data collection and input, etc). - Communicate FDC data model needs and make changes to code look up tables - Manage MCBU Mapping Governance Document and ensure it is kept evergreen - Design and implement training on data collection, data access, and data utilization at the field level and as needed for management - Lead the process roll out and promote use of the MCBU Mapping Governance Document - Maintain list of stakeholders such as Facilities Engineering (FE), Asset Development (AD), Process Safety Management (PSM), Regulatory, Base Business (BB), and Operations and engage as needed - Ensure FDC process is meeting the regulatory requirements across the BU by continuously engaging stakeholders - Champion the changes required for FDG related data quality improvement *Functional Knowledge* - Must be knowledgeable and have working experience with databases and GIS, GPS, and/or mobile GIS - Experience with upstream or midstream pipeline operations and construction records is required - Familiarity with pipeline regulations is preferred (CFR 192 and 195) - A Bachelor’s degree surveying, geography, GIS or related discipline is preferred, or equivalent industry experience *Best Regards,* *John Manohar* *Sr Technical Recruiter * Phone : 408-648-2042(direct) E-mail : [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
