*Job Title : Java Developer Location : Austin,TX Duration : 11 Month Rate : $55/Hr* Years Skills/Experience 5 Experience in the Information Technology industry 5 Full SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) involvement from analysis and planning to development and deployment. 4 Working and developing applications on the Java EE 5/6 application development platform for enterprise class projects. 4 Excellent technical problem solving skills and programming ability in JAVA 3 Coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, Java EE 5/6, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), Adobe Flex, XML (eXtensible Markup Language), Spring, Hibernate and Oracle 3 Development experience with implementing applications involving WebSphere Portal Server, WAS (WebSphere Application Server), JSP (Java Servlets), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), Java Portlets, EJB, JDBC (Java DataBase Connectivity), SQL (Structured Query Language), and JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface). 3 Strong understanding and knowledge of the WebSphere/Java EE architecture, EJB, UML (Unified Modeling Language), Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/ODBC (Oracle DataBase Connectivity), UML modeling & OOD (Object-Oriented Design / Development) skills, and JAVA EE 5/6 integration points with external or third party products. 3 Strong understanding of the MVC (Model View Controller) pattern or the STRUTS and JSF frameworks. 2 Experience with WebSphere, RAD (Rational Application Development suite), and Oracle.. 2 Object modeling and design experience is essential. 2 Knowledge of best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability is also required. 2 Web Services development experience (e.g. XML, SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language), and UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration). Preferences: Years Skills/Experience 1+ Experience in Adobe Flex 2+ Database modeling, design and management skills including developing data access web services using SOA/ESB concepts.
