TitleL: SQL Server Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12+ Months

This person should also be proficient in building and implementing SSIS
packages including data conversion and SFTP data transfers.
·8+ years of experience developing SQL Server environments including:
·SQL scripting and performance tuning
·Stored procedures, triggers, functions and other programmable objects
·DB/Table partitioning and archiving
·Experience with VBA, MS Access and Excel
·Knowledge of one or more data integration tools (Datastage, SSIS, Denodo)
is highly desirable
·Knowledge of SSAS cubes is a plus
·Familiarity with MicroStrategy and Essbase is a plus
·Effective oral and written communication
·Effective in gathering user requirements
·Outstanding organizational, analytical and facilitation skills
·Experience in retail industry is a big plus

The resource should have at least 5 recent years of experience in
developing applications that are heavily dependent on or with a design
centered on SQL Server. This person should be proficient in database design
and able to build all types of database objects (e.g., tables, views,
stored procedures, indexes) without the need of reference materials. This
person should also be proficient in building and implementing SSIS packages
including data conversion and SFTP data transfers.

Experience in tuning and analytical analysis of data structures is
important. The ability to work in a team/collaborative environment with
minimal directive oversight is also important

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our newly created Rapid Delivery
Organization. Our purpose is to deliver robust planning and reporting tools
to multiple areas of the business such as Inventory Management, Inventory
Strategy, and Supply Chain. It is critical to deploy quality tools at a
cadence that matches the fast pace nature of the business. The position
will require: flexibility in approach to software design, structured and
creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently
and collaboratively. In addition, we are looking for an individual who can
play multiple roles including project management, business analysis, and
software development
·Participate in and facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and design
·Design and architect tool solutions based on business and technical
requirements
·Integrate applications and perform data migrations using SQL Server or MS
Access
·Build front end UI tools in VBA or other technologies
·Manage the overall execution of the project life cycle
