PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the business through compiling, preparing, and reporting data and metrics used in the analysis of sales and marketing performance. Produces analysis to create solid business cases and support data-driven decisions. Evaluates business problems, compiles and analyzes available resources, and recommends solutions. Builds, publishes, and maintains data visualizations and dashboards for use by various stakeholders. Optimizes reporting, visualizations, and dashboards to suit user needs and increase usability and performance. Documents team data sources, methodologies, and processes. Actively participates in assigned projects and collaborates with team members on issues and problem resolution. Identifies projects or noteworthy areas of analysis to improve business planning and decision-making. SKILLS Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Analytical aptitude and attention to detail. Self-driven problem-solver. Strong process knowledge of and experience in Sales and Marketing organizations. Knowledge of general business acumen. Strong qualitative and quantitative mathematical skills. High aptitude to optimize or create operational efficiencies. Ability to interpret needs expressed in general terms from stakeholders in order to determine the source of the data and best format to effectively present the information. Salesforce.com reporting experience preferred. REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of relevant work experience. Proven record of business analysis in marketing, finance, or product management/engineering. Storage experience preferred, but experience in hardware, software, or other high tech vertical required. Experience cleansing, blending, and transforming data Intermediate to advanced Excel experience strong vlookup and pivot skills.
