Candidate will need excellent experience with SQL Stored procedures Along with Servlets, JSP, HTML, Hibernate, JDBC Java Software Developer As a Java Developer you will be primarily enhancing and maintaining 3 large, applications used to manage the transportation of petroleum products. Responsibilities: Work within a team environment using the Agile development methodology. Gather enhancement requests from Team Lead, update/create design documents as needed, and develop software according to specifications. Application stacks include a) Java, Swing, JDBC, and SQL Server, and b) Java, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, and SQL Server. Required Skills/Experience: ·At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise Java applications using: Swing, JDBC, Hibernate, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, HTML and SQL Server. ·Solid experience with Java Business Rules (NO real Web Services utilized) ·Strong experience with JDBC, Hibernate. ·Client does use Hornet Messaging, which would be a nice to have but not required ·Strong Object Oriented analysis and programming skills with Java. ·Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ·At least 1 solid year of work experience in an Agile development environment. ·Effective communication skills to work within a technical team and document application enhancements. ·Ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. in SQL Server. ·Interpersonal skills to work in a team-environment and yet sufficiently skilled and self-motivated to work independently.
