Java UI developer - urgent requirement Location: San Jose Duration 8 months with possible extension Rate: $50-55/hr C2C Required ASAP Responsibilities • Hands-on Design, Development & Support of Software Solutions. • Collaborate with Business, Business Analysts and other Engineering teams to agree on specific deliverables, and lead the implementation via a detailed plan leveraging global resources to meet business objectives. • Provide thought leadership and lead innovation by exploring, researching, recommending, bench marking and implementing frameworks, platforms and solutions. • Take end to end ownership of the assigned activity including working closely with cross functional team. • Work with minimal supervision and be able to escalate issues in a timely manner. Qualifications • BS/MS CS/SE/EE degree or equivalent with 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience in the field of Software Engineering and Development. • Knowledge and experience across all stacks, inclusive of frontend & backend. • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills. • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience with JSF, JQuery, API management and scalable web • Knowledge and experience with Rest Web services; Oracle; Spring Framework; Hibernate; Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD); Good exposure to designing, building and deploying REST/JSON based APIs • Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices in Java/J2EE platform including UI, Application & Frameworks development. • Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments. • Working experience on Vert.x is a plus. • Must have experience with code management tools like Git, SVN etc. • Must have development experience with frameworks and tools including Play framework, JUnit, JMeter, SoapUI etc. • Strong technical / problem solving skills and ability to work efficiently as a team player or as a self-supervised / managed person • Must be a strong team player with good leadership skills • Effective communicator within and across teams
