General Requirements Solid Salesforce.com experience with APEX API and APEX Triggers Program fluently in Apex and have a solid understanding of Apex classes Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services Confidently work off existing code or fix bugs from existing code Advanced understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects, junction objects, and other model items Understanding of Relational databases (SQL, Oracle etc.) Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE) Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync / async Understanding of UI design principles and best practices Develop user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security). Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes. Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicate records and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts in accordance with sales territories. Establish and implement best practices with regards to development, testing, data integrity, reporting, etc. Design, Develop, document, build, and unit test enhancements to Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards within Salesforce. Research changes in upcoming versions of salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity. Develop report folders, dashboards, etc. to improve system usability. Develop in visual force, AppExchanges, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions using API toolkits. Ability to design, code, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform. Salesforce.com Certified Developer (Required) Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator (Preferred) Additional Requirements Working knowledge of SOQL statements and MS-SQL with SSRS SQL Database migration experience is a plus Hands on experience with APEX and Visual Force development Use of Salesforce APIs (via java, etc.) to integrate Salesforce with other tools. Experience with Force.com migration tool desired.
