Position : BigData Hadoop Consultant Location : Chevy Chase,MD Duration : 3 Months Need EAD / GC / USC Only *Skills and Experience required:* - Minimum 3+ years of experience in Hadoop echo system including MapReduce, HDFS, Hive, HBase, NO-SQL is required - Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience including a minimum of 3 years supporting multi-tier applications on Linux systems - Experience in troubleshooting problems and working with other teams to determine the root cause - Hands on experience with automation tools such as Puppet is a plus - 3+ years of experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting knowledge is required - Experience in Agile/Scrum, and DevOps tools like Jenkins is a plus - Strong shell scripting skills or knowledge in Python, Ruby is required - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required. *Desired Skills:* MapReduce, HDFS, Spark, Yarn, Shell Scripting, Linux, Pythom Ruby, Puppet.
