Job Requirement

·         F5 load balancers, including an understanding of the routing and
switching protocols required to successfully design, deploy and run a very
large application environment. A high degree of F5 skill is required for
this position.

·         Candidate should have strong networking experience with STP, BGP,
OSPF, SSL, AnyCast, TLS, SFTP, DNS and other protocols. Position requires
strong L2, L3 routing, TCP/IP and network security capability.

·         Candidate must also understand networked applications, including
HTTP, SSH, SSL and others. Extensive knowledge of DNS protocol and BIND are
required, including F5 DNS Express, ZoneRunner, QIP IPAM, and secondary
slave DNS Cloud integration.

·         Advanced skills of designing, coding, and troubleshooting iRules
(F5's TLC-Based scripting language), and iControl ( F5's API for 3rd party
application integration are required.

·         In depth engineering experience on F5 load balancers, including
an understanding of the routing and switching protocols required to
successfully design, deploy and run a very large application environment. A
high degree of F5 skill is required for this position.

·         Candidate must be skilled in F5 CLI including both BigPipe and
TMOS Shell (TMSH).

·         Experience with packet capture analysis software is required.

·         F5 Web Accelerator and Application Security Module (ASM)
experience preferred.

·         F5 IHealth and Payoda AppviewX experience preferred.

·         Understanding of load balancing strategies and advanced
techniques for application delivery.

·         Must have expertise in application switching and traffic
management, deep knowledge of application requirements (such as
persistence), understand SSL offload and implementation of SSL certificate
and Key, and web acceleration and TCP optimization.

·         Use of F5 DOS and DDOS features and mitigation methods including
use of network Packet filters and iRules is desirable.

·         Understanding of F5 generic monitors and the ability to create
custom monitors is required.

·         Applicant must have deep experience in web traffic support, load
balancing and other web implementations.

·         Administrator level ability with UNIX (Linux or other variant) is
highly desirable.
