*Master Planner - SAP* *Location: Hopkins, MN* *5 month contract* *Responsibilities:* • Builds & Maintain Capacity Planning models • Reviews, communicates, and interprets the output of the capacity and inventory models to management. • Prepares “what-if” unconstrained/constrained analysis on “upside” volume to determine whether or not volume can be achieved. • Assists the organization in the Master Planning of Resources • Leads New Product, Product Conversions, and Discontinued Items process for Supply Planning. • Maintains master data within SAP (lot size, Safety stock, DOH, etc.) • Help the organization achieve desired metrics on KPI’s such as customer service level and fill rates, DOH targets, Inventory turns, etc. • Assesses current processes and recommends and implements improvements *Skills:* • Must have a thorough understanding of the Theory of Constraints and Process Mapping • Advanced knowledge of Demand and Supply Planning and S&OP processes with specific experience building and maintain capacity and inventory models. • Experience working cross functionally with Demand Planning, Marketing, Inventory Management, Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, Transportation, and Customer Service. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and convey complex issues or problems. • Experience with advanced planning software (i.e. SAP APO SNP PPDS, I2, INFOR, etc.). • Bachelors’ Degree required, Masters a plus.
