Job Title: Hadoop Engineer Location: Berwyn, PA *(**local candidates preferred first)* Duration: 12+ months *Hourly Rate: $60 per hour C2C* Looking for a strong Hadoop consultant with Hortonworks Hadoop technology stack. Candidate will be responsible for large data processing and will work with our product team and engineers to enhance our data capture and analytics system, along with making recommendations for best practices and supporting technologies. • Must have pxperience in Plan, design, and develop leveraging Hortonworks Hadoop technology stack. • Four year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent education/ work experience. • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in big data engineering. • Experience with Apache Hive, Apache HBase, MapReduce. • Experience with Java. • Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure - Amazon AWS (EC2, S3). • Experience with BI tools (Cognos, Tableau). • Skill set: Hortonworks Hadoop, Hive Hbase, MapReduce, Java, Apache Phoenix, JDBC.
