*The IBM DataStage Designer position in the BI and Analytics group of Dell
Services,*
*primarily focuses on providing Application Development and support*
*services to Dell customers. Translates high-level specifications for

*components into program specifications; Responsible for development and

*implementation. Need to provide strong technical guidance to team ensure
quality*
*of the deliverables. Responsible to follow Software development*
*processes and methodologies such as Agile Scrum. Involved in resolving

*software development issues that may arise in a production environment.*
*Description:8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of
education and work experienceUndergraduate degree and 4-6 years experience
in IBM Infosphere Datastage.Or Graduate degree and 4-5 years experience in
the above mentioned toolsIBM DataStage versions 9.1 and up.Strong
experience with Parallel job developmentUnix shell scripting skills – at
least basic to intermediate levelStrong SQL skillsSound database concepts
(Oracle/Netezza)Ability of Data profiling and reconciliation and data
issuesUnderstanding of data management/data warehousingconcepts-good idea
on indexing, ETL relevant concepts/featuresExcellent oral, written,
presentation and interpersonal communications skillsStrong problem solving
and analytical skills.Domain knowledge in Healthcare*
