Oracle Developer Chevy Chase, MD 1-2 Years Contract Client is looking for an Oracle Developer that has great communication (9 out of 10). Candidate must have experience with 11g and would be a plus to have 12c experience. Qualified candidate must also have some kind of understanding of web technologies (Java, JSON, Angular JS Web Services, etc…). Candidate must be able to interview in person. The developer duties include interacting with the functional, technical and management community to assess functional requirements, assist with product design/configuration, develop technical solutions as needed for problems that arise or enhancements, test and debug code changes, and assure all modifications are properly documented and migrated from development to test to production environments. In addition, the developer will troubleshoot and provide a solution to remedy the production issues that occur and provide functional and/or technical system expertise to stakeholders. *Required Skills* 1. Knowledge of and experience with Oracle 11g/12c database features and database objects. 2. Read and write intermediate to advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code. 3. Experience building custom transactional database applications. 4. Investigate and identify data sources and lineage. 5. Willing to support and understand multiple existing applications and schemas. 6. Experience with Oracle Application Express, ELT via database links, Virtual Private Database, TOAD, consuming web services from the database is a plus. 7. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, end-users, and maintain excellent work relationships. 8. Understanding of web technologies is a plus (web services, JSON, Angular JS, ORM). 9.
