*SUMMARYLooking for a resource with strong MS Access, VB, and SQL
experienceResource will be responsible for creating reports with data
pulled from Fieldglass and AribaThese reports will be shared with
higher-level managers so resource should be able to face off and
communicate with the business.Responsible for managing and maintaining all
production and non-production databases.Responsible for standards and
design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security
administration.Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems
(e.g. Oracle, DB2 and MS/SQL),configures database parameters, and prototype
designs against logical data models, defines datarepository requirements,
data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.This position optimizes
database access and allocates/re-allocates database resourcesfor optimum
configuration, database performance and cost.Required:Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or
equivalentwork experience and 6+ years of experience working with various
database management systemsin database design, testing, implementation,
maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment.*
