Position: Informatica / ETL Architect

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 3 months contract to HIRE

The need is for Informatica Developer/Architect. If the candidate has Java
and ESB, all the better. The ESB here is MuleSoft.

They have a EDW with Informatica workflows developed by IBM. The workflows
have generic error messages which make the tracing of data exceptions to
exception logic difficult. Thus we need a resource that can look at a error
record, dive into the workflow to locate the exact logic point of the error,
and change the message to be more reflective of the error – or update the
logic should the business rule re-define the requirement to be a warning
versus and exception. Informatica Resource should be able to influence the
framework based on knowledge and experience with Informatica capabilities.

So the need is senior level, capable of Informatica workflow development and
design. Knowledge of Data Warehouse is assumed, as is ability to work with
both normalized, star schema and cube models. Expectation is that this
resource would not be required to data model, however the individual should
be able to analyze end to end ETL and suggest alternative, more efficient
uses of the tools.
