State experience is a plus* DMV Modernization Data Management & Governance project requires a Data Analyst specialist. The resource will work closely with NCDOT IT’s Project Manager to define, coordinate, and document the design, development, modification and implementation of data centric solutions such as data integration, extract transform and load (ETL), data cleansing and master data management for the Data Management and Governance project under the DMV Modernization program. This individual will be experienced in the development of data integration and master data management solutions. This individual will also be proficient in querying, profiling, and cleansing data as well as ETL and data integration techniques. Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have deep industry experience. Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Guidance and leadership in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Developer / Programmer 2. Understanding and knowledge of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program 3. Analysis, visual design, development, data analysis, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support), etc. Knowledge of Data Integration best practices including analysis, discovery, profiling, cleansing, staging, data quality and ETL Required7Years Proficient in querying multiple database objects using SSIS and SQL.
