We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available. *Location: Waukegan, Illinois* *Duration: 6+ months* *Job Title BI Technical Lead* *Visa copy and photo id required during submission* Technical/Functional Skills Cognos BI tools (Cognos 10.2.2) Hands-on expertise with various data architecture and modeling tools, such as ERwin, Visio, Informatica, Toad Analysts etc. Roles & Responsibilities • Participate in creating Data models and Architecture strategy and deliverables such as architecture, interface, detailed, database design documents. • Create a conceptual data architecture including the data representations at each point in the data flows to cover Regulatory Affairs, R&D QA and PPS/Safety (RQS data model); develop Logical Data Model (LDM) and Physical Data Model (PDM) o Create logical model(s) o Participate in finalizing Source to Target Data Map • Able to utilize data profiling results to identify data issues and challenges. Able to define, test and communicate solution • Able to work jointly with Data Stewards to develop Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models • Collaborate with Data Stewards as well as developers on data modeling practices • Create / maintain data model change control / version control procedures, emergency change procedures, and monitor new software releases impacts • Develop / promote ongoing maintenance of standards/ best practice templates on naming / usage of tables / views / attributes / triggers / stored procedures, de-normalization cost/benefit, DB-referential integrity vs. programmatic RI enforcement • Support OLTP/OLAP ETL from core databases; available for consultation on OLAP designs / slow changing dimension (Type 1, 2, 3)- conform dimension design, facts, measure, factless fact. • Document data quality issues through observations. *Thanks * *Wasim AhmedUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
