Must be able to architect ETL solutions appropriate for task at hand, or modify existing code. - 2+ years of experience as ETL team lead - 8 years of experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large SQL databases required. Oracle is preferred, but SQL Server, Teradata or DB2 would also be helpful. - Experience working with XML and flat file extraction and loading. - Ability to write complex queries and stored procedures is needed. - Experience in complex SQL query tuning and Informatica performance optimization. - Ability to figure out performance bottle neck and develop appropriate action plan. - Experience with creating Unix shell scripts and or modification. - Good analytic and critical thinking, writing, communication and consulting skills. Must work well within a team. Must be an independent self-starter. - Proven leadership in consulting. Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, openness, and results orientation. - Comfortable creating documentation and specifications for ETL code. - Experience with Informatica versioning. - Experience with Informatica as well as DB partitioning. - Experience with Informatica push down optimization. Preferred skills : -Experience with Informatica 8.5.x, 9.5.x and beyond preferable -Experience with Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos, or similar reporting tool. -Experience with B2B DT module preferred -Experience working with flat files, XML, Web Services, and Message Queues -Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting. -Familiarity with hierarchical databases -Certification in Informatica, Oracle, or Teradata -Experience writing PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures. -Experience with SQL tuning and optimization. -Experience with ETL/Informatica performance tuning. *Experience Required* 8 Yrs *Roles & Responsibilities* You will have responsibility for ensuring the successful development and providing test support. As an ETL Lead you will lead one or more simultaneous ETL/data warehousing projects. ETL lead role requires leading ETL teams, create mapping documents, design, develop, unit test, implement, manage, and maintain solutions using ETL (Informatica) tool along with JAVA, B2B, UNIX, and PL/SQL scripts. You will report to the Applications Development Manager in order to meet development and testing timelines. You will help set and ensure adherence to design and programming standards. You will aid in coaching and instructing Associate and Intermediate Applications Developers.
