This is a great opportunity to leverage application development skills to work on a project which involves on-boarding a new line of business to a risk system. This role will also give exposure to working with traders, book-runners, quants and other IT teams. *Role Description:* Develop and maintain applications used for calculating risk for *MBS and Fixed Income* products. Work very closely with a functional analyst to understand requirements and develop applications to the requirements. Should be able to understand a spreadsheet based pricing model and automate it using *C++/Java*. Work with development team to understand current application landscape thoroughly. Design and write code that reuses strategic components as much as possible. Support SIT and UAT activities. Automate build and deployment. Train L1/L2 support staff. Provide L3 support. *Skill Set Profile:* Required technical skills: 4-5 years of application development experience with Core Java, Oracle, Shell Scripts, Linux/UNIX, SQL, XML Desired technical skills: *C++.* Previous experience with *Git, Maven, Nexus* will be very valuable. Basic *Fixed Income and MBS* knowledge, familiarity with basic MBS instruments.
