Hyperion Planning Administrator – Technical / Financial Description: Responsible for ensuring that all applications perform optimally at all times (Hyperion Planning, Essbase) Ensure support and development service that meets or exceeds existing SLA’s Ensure all development activity is compliant with change control procedures and is rigorously tested Where appropriate, ensure change procedures comply with SOX controls Ensure disaster recovery procedures giving site and server based resilience are in place and regularly tested Provide a technical support and development service for each of these applications. This will involve gaining a detailed understanding of the application structures, the business processes they support and the requirements of a diverse user base Maintaining and operating calc scripts, business rules, partitions and forms Maintaining metadata, FDM maps and managing data transfers between applications including HFM Access control and development of the security model End User support Maintain/develop processes/scripts using Microsoft SQL Server. Experience requirements: Minimum 7 years hands-on Hyperion Planning / Essbase application development and support experience incorporating project and team management Minimum 7 years’ experience designing and delivering Hyperion based solutions to consolidation, forecasting and management reporting requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting end-user processes (e.g. Close, Budget, Forecast) Prior experience working with HFM an advantage but not mandatory. Training will be provided Experience on Hyperion version 11.1.2.X is desirable Strong SQL/ PL SQL expertise ADDITIONAL NOTES the role will support 6-7 applications with Hyperion.
