The *Tableau Developer/Architect* is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers, various project teams and business stakeholders. *1. Tableau Developer* *Location: **NY and/or New Jersey* *Duties and Responsibilities* - *Build dashboards utilizing Tableau* - Build canned reports for internal business analysis - Work with database developers to define, create, and optimize data sets for data visualizations - Expertise in *Tableau Calculations, Dashboard Visualizations, Data blending* - Work with Data Warehouse developers to define and obtain reporting data view models - Identify opportunities to improve our data visualization capabilities Professional Experience - 3+ years of experience *designing and developing dashboards and reports for a data oriented environment* - 3 + years of experience with *Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau API* - Experience with *Teradata, SQL Server Analysis Services Cubes, SQL Server Database*. NoSQL solutions (Mongo / RavenDB / etc) and other data platforms is a plus - Experience in Media Industry, a strong plus - Knowledge of DOMO, a nice to have Knowledge and Abilities - Working knowledge and practice working in Agile development environment (SCRUM etc.) is a plus - Ability to adapt within a rapidly changing environment - Attention to detail and concern for quality and accuracy of final product -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *2. Tableau Architect* *Location: **NY and/or New Jersey* *Responsibilities:* - Interact with Business users and understand their requirements from a data analytic, visualization and *UI/UX perspective*. - Design, develop and support interactive Tableau Dashboard reports, with different data sources. - Recommend dashboards per Tableau visualization features and the business requirements. - Deliver reports to Business team in a timely manner. - Communicate and work proactively with existing ETL, EDW, QA and Tableau development teams to complete the required dashboards. - Provide support for the resolution of all reporting issues escalated by the Support Operations Team post-implementation. *Required Skills:* - Ability to work in an agile environment and to apply required changes in existing dashboards in a timely manner. - Extensive experience working with *Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization in Tableau.* - Ability to use the full range of Tableau platform technologies to design, implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced *BI visualizations*. - Strong knowledge of *Tableau report building process* and Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts.
