Duration    :-    6 Months Contract

Description:
The Senior Quality Assurance Business Analyst I provides analysis and
quality assurance

expertise to the QA project teams. Mentors junior and entry level QA
Business Analysts,

as well as assisting with the successful development and implementation of
IT projects.

The Senior QA Business Analyst I will demonstrate proficiency in all areas
of QA test

planning, test development, test execution, and defect management.
Responsible for

training more junior members of the team in QA processes.

Responsibilities
Analysis and Solution Definition
Understands the project and business requirements and technical design
specifications.
Develops accurate and efficient test plans and understands how to develop a
sound test

strategy.
Develops effective, accurate, and detailed test scripts.
Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.

Project Execution
Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project
goals, and

timelines.
Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them
consistently.
Develops meeting agendas and assigns follow-up tasks.
Conducts testing according to plan and published timelines, consistently
delivering a

quality product.
Accurately employs QA methodology and documentation tools.
Assembles and documents test execution results.
Documents identified defects and their resolution.
Obtains formal sign-off.
Proactively carries out project support and administrative functions.
Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple tasks.

Quality Understanding
Is proficient Quality Assurance processes and procedures, and leads in the
development

of process enhancements.
Understands the business partner�s expectations and obtains business
partner

satisfaction.
Is knowledgeable in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the
Quality

Assurance integration points within the SDLC.

Communication
Creates documentation and procedures for new products, enhancements, or
system

modifications.
Promotes active listening with team members.
Clearly articulates ideas and thoughts verbally.
Prepares written business correspondence that is accurate, grammatically
correct,

effective, professional, and engaging.
Encourages input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies

comments/feedback.
Completes timely and accurate status reports.
Contributes appropriately to conversations.

Technical Understanding
Is skilled in the use of Vantage 15.9
Is skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook,
VISIO, and

PowerPoint).
Developing skill in the use of the IT applications, and the Quality
Assurance testing

tools.
Proficient in the use of various LFG desktop applications.
Is knowledgeable about the LFG system and application interfaces.
Proficient in basic algebraic concepts and mathematical calculations (i.e.
use of

spreadsheets).

Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of
projects.
Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively
transform

current industry practices into fresh alternative solutions.

Requirements
Well-versed in testing methodologies (i.e. white vs. black box testing,
system integration

vs. functional).
A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development
process.
Experienced in problem solving system and/or application issues.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills over a 2-year
period.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and balance a workload
with different

priorities (flexibility and adaptability).
Self-motivated, and accepts responsibility.
BA/BS in Computer Sciences/Engineering (or associated discipline).
Four to six years Quality Assurance experience in information systems and/or
product
development.
