*H1/GC & Photo ID Copies are mandatory for submission* *Big Data Consultant with Amazon Redshift * *Beaverton - Oregon* *6 month’s (extendable)* *Job Description:* *Skills Required: *Amazon Redshift, HP Vertica Branding and Thought Leadership, Data Warehousing, BIDW Architecture, Consulting, BI DW Analysis and Solution design. *Responsibilities:* Design and implement map reduce jobs to support columnar storage DWH/ BI solutions using AWS Redshift; Ability to design and implement end to end solution. Exposure on AWS Lamda architecture, S3 files, scheduling, user maintenance is desired. Research, evaluate and utilize new frameworks/ Solutions around loads into Redshift from AWS S3. Develop Postgre scripts, procedures in Redshift. Explore functions in Redshift to make Scalable and flexible solution. Define and build data acquisitions and consumption strategies Define & develop best practices Work with support teams in resolving operational & performance issues Work with architecture/engineering leads and other teams on capacity planning Work with Site-Operations team on configuration/upgrades. Exposure to Hadoop a plus.
