*Description: Sun Solaris System Administrator Job Responsibilities:
Production Support: break/fix, Sys Admin Tasks System software
installation, updates and fixes Apply critical security updates for
applications and operating systems Capacity management on the local servers
Storage management on the local servers Data backup and restoration as
needed Execute upgrades and maintenance to the Unix infrastructure Provide
systems and security administration, i.e. operating system
installation, maintenance and upgrading, responding to trouble tickets and
alerts Support 24x7x365 availability of the Unix Infrastructure Participate
in the Annual Disaster Recovery Exercise. (Added) Participate in audit
requests to generate data, remediate issues. (Added) There may be some
local travel to the customer’s data center .(Added) The average hours per
month is 156.*
