Job Title: Network Engineer w/Cisco certification Location: Castle Rock, CO Duration: 2-3 Months Note: Project schedule to start on Mon 5/16 Douglas County School District (DCSD) is planning to relocate their primary data center by June 30th, 2016 and requires additional network engineering services to conduct the planning, staging, migration, and post support services. The following outlines qualified professional services needs and requirements: Phase I Assessment & Planning Phase II Staging & Verification Phase III Migration Phase IV Post Migration Services Data Center Technology Experience Requirements: The following network technology experience will be required to successfully conduct the data center migration. All candidates must have Cisco Catalyst & Nexus network hardware and operating system experience within large data center environments. Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure experience will also be required, but minimally deployed. Edge security and routing experience is required in consideration of the districts DMZ and WAN services. Candidate to provide DCSD with best practice data center network architecture & configuration to support high availability (active / passive) and scale for future district growth.
