Skill Set: Date Warehouse Design/Scripting, Data Modeling, ETL Tool (Informatica), SQL Responsibilities: •Architects, develops, implements, and maintains the Data Warehouse •Designs and builds Data Marts to support mission critical Data Warehouse applications •Designs and builds extractions and ETL processes •Develops custom code and scripts to support the Data Warehouse •Aids in resolution of Data Warehouse related production issues •Creates data flows and conceptual models defining the informational needs of projects •Provides leadership in logical/physical modeling and design •Identifies systems of records and sources of data and extracts, messages, and transforms these assets in a manner consistent with overall architecture goals •Consults with project sponsors regarding information flow and content, including the facilitation of information gathering sessions •Creates written reports of findings and recommendations on performance analysis, feasibility studies and cost justification statements •Leads matrix of technical data warehousing developers •Assists in the development of project plans and deliverable lists for proposed projects •Develops and maintains data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards •Collaborates with other members of the IT Architecture team to review and select Data Warehouse platforms and technologies •Evangelize and educate employees on the use of technology to work more efficiently •Exhibits knowledge and research ability to incorporate emerging industry and technology practices when solving business problems. •Tier 2 level on-call support may be required to support data warehouse operations.
