12 month contract available in Sacramento, CA for a Functional Test Engineer. Candidates must be local to the Sacramento area or surrounding area as an onsite interview is required for this position. USC/GC *Minimum Qualifications* - A minimum of 5 years of experience performing test planning, test preparation and test execution activities. - A minimum of 5 years of experience transmitting data using standard messaging protocols (i.e. Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) over Hypertext Transfer Protocol, Secure (HTTPS) and Web Services Definition Language (WSDL), and flat files via middleware technology (i.e. JCAPS). - A minimum of 5 years working cooperatively with business and IT professionals, gaining trust of team members and customers, and communicating clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing - A minimum 5 years of experience managing/coordinating test activities for a complex, large scale enterprise application - 3 years of experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management, IBM ClearCase, and IBM ClearQuest - Ability to work flexible hours and weekends - Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of eperience in ITSM process improvement and management ysing industry best practices; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at an exper leel both technically and in measure of responsibility - Mist have extensive working knowledge and experience managing complex projects using all aspects of the Project Management Lifecycle - Must have strong experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, re-engineering and maintenance of ITSM processes.
