*NOTE: Need EAD,GC or USC !!* Position: Developer Advisor Location: Columbia, MD Interview Method: *Phone then Face to Face, Local candidates only* *EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:* · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience · 5+ years .Net experience (C#, ASP.Net) in both application and web-centric environments Contract to hire position · Experience with healthcare domain a plus. · Expert in building web enabled applications using ASP.Net. with C# · Experience in IBM DB2 10 or later · Solid experience with SQL stored procedure programming & testing. · Solid experience with .Net 4.0 and/or 4.5 (WCF, WF, WPF, etc.) · Expert in object-oriented programming Significant experience with XML and XSLT · Working experience with Service Oriented Architecture environment and application · Working experience with Ajax and WCF · Able to reference and create Web Services · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Demonstrated decision-making, analytical and problem solving abilities · Ability to work effectively as member of a team, with minimal guidance · Experience developing high volume web portal application systems · Exposure to technologies such as Netezza is preferred · Exposure to FHIR interface is preferred *JOB DUTIES*: · Software architecture, design, development, and testing · Program ASP.NET web applications and WCF · Design and program for Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 based database applications · Preparing technical and other project documentation · Design and source code review for peer developers · Lead small development team in design, coding, testing and maintenance activities. · Perform systems analysis, design, coding, and perform code review. · Develop software to implement product requirements and technical specifications using object-oriented design and .NET and C# programming languages. · Develop AJAX, SOA/Web Services, and MVC based solutions · Design and deploy Web based .Net applications and .Net Windows services · Perform SQL server and Netezza database Programming. · Develop ETL packages using SSIS · Manage and deploy database packages using SQL DB Control and Visual studio Team foundation. · Perform unit testing, and development testing. · Provide technical supervision to junior and mid-level developers. · Prepare systems analysis, and technical specification documentation · Ensure that products or features meet requirements and quality standards and SLA Responsibilities · Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company’s application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. · Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. · Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Develops and owns list of final enhancements. · Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written. · Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. · Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan. · Assesses current status and supports data information planning. Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system. · Maintains technical development environment.
