• Items 1, 2 & 3 highlighted in requirements list below. However, not all 3
skillsets are 100% required in the same resource.
• Empower version-2 or version-3 are both OK
• Items 4 & 5, can be ignored for your screening purposes.
*Secondary needs:*
Very nice for resource to have some Pharma background, so he/she has a
grasp of unique environmental factors like Regulatory concerns.
1. Working knowledge of Empower 2 or 3 from a software support perspective
a. ICS / ICOP support
b. LAC/E support
c. Project Management / Archival
2. Experience supporting GxP laboratory data systems
a. User administration
b. Backup / Recovery of data
(i). NuGenesis SDMS (bonus)
c. Software troubleshooting
d. Change control
e. Protocol execution
f. Electronic Records / Electronic Signatures
3. Basic PC support experience
a. Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 7)
b. Basic hardware troubleshooting
c. Drive imaging
d. Understanding of networking
4. Laboratory Platform Experience
a. Spectroscopy
(i). ChemStation, Spectrum, Omnic, OPUS
b. Particle Size Analysis
(i). Mastersizer 2000 / 3000 / Z, Camsizer, Zetasizer
c. Water Analysis
(i). Tiamo, DataGuard, etc
d. Microbiological Analysis
(i). Vitek, Celsis
e. Environmental Monitoring
(i). AmegaView, LabWatch, TempTale
f. Sample Preparation
(i). TPW3
g. Structure Characterization
(i). Shimadzu XRD, Bruker XRD
h. Elemental Analysis
(i). Solaar, Qtegra
5. Manufacturing Support (bonus)
a. WonderWare / Intellution
b. Fluid Bed / Pan Coater
