Our client is looking for a Cognos BI Designer in the East Rutherford, NJ area. Duration: 2-3 months. Start date in early June..with local candidates preferred. Most important is that the person has song DESIGN skills. Details about the position below: Cognos 10 Implementation Strong Design / development of Cognos 10 models Experience with database design for Cognos 10 reporting Provide input on all aspects of the design of Cognos 10 system. Provide input on and assist with development of security Assist with completion of Framework Manager models based on developed guidelines and standards. Create new Transformer models based on gathered requirements. Work on customization of Cognos Connection. Help to design and develop guidelines and templates for reports and dashboards. Assist with the design and validation of new database to support Cognos 10 core data requirements. User Transition Support & Content Creation Assist users as they begin using Cognos 10. This includes walk throughs to help them become familiar with the system and assisting with report creation. Gather requirements from users for dashboards and reports. Create user content based on requirements and work with users to refine and finalize content.
