Position Overview: Our client is looking for an ETL Developer for their Investment department. The candidate should have strong knowledge in design, development, testing and implementing ETL jobs (both server and parallel) in IBM InfoSphere DataStage 9.1. Skills Required: Primary Skills: o At least 6+ years experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage 9.1 (Server and Parallel Jobs), Oracle 8.x/9.x/10G, and SQL Server. Additional Skills: o UNIX Shell Scripting o Autosys o Data Modeling Candidate should also have: Extensive experience in IBM DataStage middleware development. IBM DataStage – project specific configuration, packaging and deployment experience. Hands on experience with IBM DataStage custom routine Experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage 9.1 is an added advantage SQL Server ,Oracle and other database experience Prior experience in data conversion and interface development Vendor data like Bloomberg knowledge is an added advantage Understanding of ETL processes and Best Practices thereof Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM DataStage Server and Parallel Jobs Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with MQ plug-ins and XML packages in DataStage.
