EIGRP and BGP redistribution, integration, traffic shaping, map classing and HSRP Configuring Cisco CatOS and IOS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers Have good understanding of the OSI layers 1-7 In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP Protocol and related TCP/UDP ports Ability to work various shifts and be on call to support a 24x7x365 network Organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills CCNA certification desired Must have Cisco wireless networking knowledge Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, RIP etc. Knowledge of data cabling standards Responsibilities: Design LAN/MAN/WAN infrastructure (wired and Wireless) with Copper and Fiber cable plant using Cisco switches and WAPs. Supervise copper/Fiber cabling installation by vendor in office and industrial environment Monitor and troubleshoot WAN circuits Quickly solve moderate level complex problems relating to network connectivity and performance Ability to create/modify detailed Visio or other network drawings. Review and prepare Scope/Specification documents Some knowledge of power and heat load requirements is desirable Ability to review detailed labor estimates for cabling and make recommendations.
