*Job Title : Mainframe Technical Architect Location : Birmingham, AL Duration : 12 Months Rate : $50/Hr* Job Description: Description: : Responsible for the business infrastructure from an IT perspective. Design and develop IT architecture (i.e., integrated processes, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the organization’s architecture approach and standards. Ensure that there is a consistent and robust applications (systems) landscape; ensure functions are not duplicated; ensure functions are consistent across channels, across geography, and across lines of business. Support the implementation of infrastructure and deployment of a real time Banking origination and servicing system and the integration of auxiliary systems in a layered model. Establish operational objectives, analyze current processes and develop/identify solutions that will satisfy functionality, performance reliability standards, data security awareness and objectively look at all alternatives including current software, channels, business infrastructure and information and related components Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field Banking experience prefferedwith 6+ years of experience working in an IBM Mainframe environment using MVS, CICS, and DB2. May also have experience with XML, Java Script, and Oracle. Business intelligence and Websphere is preferred.
