MUST have prior FACETS experience as outlined in the below requirements (5+ years of Facets). *Job Description*: A systems analyst designs new technical solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity. The work might be for an external client or an internal client (such as a department within the same organization). Working closely with the client, the analysts examine business requirements to produce a detailed technical design for an appropriate improved IT solution. They act as the liaison between the client and the developers. System Analyst produces outline designs and costing of new systems, specifying the operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the end-user, present their design to the client and, once it is approved, work closely with the client team to implement the solution. *Requirements*: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience - 6+ years of System Analysis experience with Facets, version 5.x preferred, in a large medical managed care organization similar to us. We want experience in a large-scale, high-volume medical healthcare organization. - 5+ years of experience working in the different phases of software development. - 5 + years of medical healthcare insurance industry experiences, with knowledge of government run programs - Medicaid, Medicare. - 4+ years of Relational Database experience. - 3+ years of writing system designs. - Understanding of data gathering/analysis. - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Experience working with test plans and test cases. - Experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Day in the Life: The IT Systems Analyst should able to take a set of Business Requirement and consult with clients, peers, and technical staff to determine the best system solution to satisfy requirements. The analyst should be capable of producing a comprehensive analysis of the best solution option. The solution may be as easy as making a small change to a data feed, or be a complex solution involving interdependencies within multiple client applications.
