We Need consultant for Unix/Middleware Systems Engineer

*Job Title           :   Unix/Middleware Systems Engineer
Location           :  Chicago, IL
Duration          :  12 month
Rate                   :   $40/Hr
Interview: F2F may require after telephonic*

Tools, platforms and technologies:
Sun Solaris 8/9/10
Enterprise Monitoring Tools (e.g. Sitescope, Gomez, BMC)
Apache and Iplanet web servers
BEA Weblogic
Java Tomcat
Unix shell scripting/Perl
SAN Architecture
Networking e.g. DNS, protocols, load balancing, etc.
Incident/Problem Management Tools (e.g. Peregrine Systems)
Design/Architecture of distributed computing environments and highly
available (HA and RAS) systems
Well versed in Internet technologies
Windows and MS Office tools
BEA Tuxedo (a plus)
Oracle 8i/9i (a plus)
Linux (RedHat/SuSe) (a plus)
Content Management systems like Vignette product suite (a plus)

Education:
BS in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience

Skills:
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of distributed computing technologies especially in the
eCommerce/Internet space
Strong customer focus and service oriented individual
Ability to work and contribute as a team member
Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shift hours; this position is staffed 7x24x365.
Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed
Ability to work under the general supervision of a Unix/MW Team Lead and
E-Commerce Senior Management.
