Subject: Essbase Developer need 2-3 months in length Cincinnati,OH Project for GO, named Deli – Micro Financials. The goal is to build a system that can give Kroger visibility into the profitability of their deli systems. They have selected Essbase/Dodeca as our implementation tool. They have a need for one resource for now, maybe a second later. Looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: · A Veteran Essbase/Dodeca Developer (6+ engagements with both tools) · Capability to work semi independently and is comfortable in a lead development role. · Prior Experience working with complex cost allocation systems (4+ engagements) · Strong understanding of Oracle Databases and Tools (6+ engagements) · Solid Understanding of common diagramming techniques (Context Diagrams, Data Flow, Process Flow) · Some experience with ETL technologies is a plus. · SOLID communication skills. We will be working on complex algorithms and data processing concepts. I will need someone with crisp communication skills in order to avoid any communication breakdowns. There is not an Essbase expert. They would expect the developer to translate the architectural vison of the application into working code, and to suggest improvement . This will be highly collaborative, and move at a brisk pace. They will start with an initial implementation and then spend a fair amount of time tweaking it as the discovery and refinement process will be ongoing. The developer will need to be flexible, creative, and patient. Finally, this is for the CEO, so it is a high visibility project. A commitment to excellence and professionalism is requisite.
