State gov experience preferred* The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Role Description: • Experience developing/clarifying detailed requirements - describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements. • Facilitate elicitation requirement meetings with business and effectively use visual displays to assist in the elicitation of requirements. • Experience developing detail use cases from existing business requirements and adding the traceability with system requirements. • Strong organization and writing skills. Experienced developing graphic representations of complex business processes. • Works with the technical team including developers to create, maintain, and deliver design supporting documentation. • Assist the development team to establish a clear understanding of the business requirements. • Effectively manage requirements throughout the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Effectively communicate with diverse and complex teams • Experience working in a fast paced agile environment and capable of delivering and managing change on work products in short iterations/ sprints • Self-motivated individual that can be resourceful and organized with completing tasks on a project with changing priorities. • Experience developing Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements - re requirements that do not perform a specific function for the business requirement but are needed to support the functionality. For example: performance, scalability, quality of service (QoS), security and usability. • Participates in design activities of application. • Provides inputs to test planning. • Experience in Regression testing and Integration testing.
