Please send the resumes at [email protected] *Job Title: PHP Developer* *Location: Warwick, RI* *Duration: 6 Month* The purpose of this solicitation is to hire an experienced Application Developer who will design, model, develop and implement a solution for the Lobby Tracker system. The Application Developer will have the following responsibilities: • Architect and develop new Lobby Tracker database application • Ensure that the developed system has a robust administrative front-end, flexible workflow, and reporting module for both administrative and public reports • Ensure that a public API provides easy access to public data for potential use by 3rd parties, particularly with RSS, XML and JSON • Works with the DBA to develop and implement the logical data model and physical data design utilizing data architecture and modeling standards. • Assist in the testing of developed applications (identifying use cases and edge cases, assisting in batch testing and load testing) • Recommend hardware and/or PaaS (Platform as a Service) providers for database, application, and API systems • Ensure that application fits well with existing enterprise architecture (LAMP, Bonfire, CodeIgniter, and 3rd party tools) • Minor system administration (Linux and selected PaaS) • Assist in troubleshooting (API, connections, queries, through-put limits) • Assist in enterprise architecture discussions and decision making to support desired system infrastructure Provide an Application Developer with the following skill set: *• 3+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of experience with PHP.* • Connecting software applications to database such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (or newer) *o SQL and SQL server database objects * *o Query Optimization * *o Data migration* (From/To XML, CSV, other database) o Stored procedures and triggers • Demonstrated experience in developing, designing, and implementing web-based applications including: o Authentication with multi-level permissions o Reporting with graphics • Demonstrated ability to be a team player including: o Change management o Ability to shift tasks as requirements/demands change o Ability to recognize and meet deadlines and milestones o Excellent verbal/written communication skills with both business and technology staff; Comfortable initiating conversations with peers within the organization, as well as the ability to translate business issues and requirements into technical solutions • Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, engineering or related field is desired Addition skills are highly desired and will increase the chance of selection: • Experience with Linux • Experience with MySQL • Experience with Bonfire, Code Igniter, or other MVC framework • Experience with JQuery and JavaScript libraries such as HighCharts Very Truly, Albert Smith CNC Consulting, Inc The enterprise resource for staff augmentation 201-588-9137 P 201-541-9128 F [email protected] www.cncconsulting.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
