*Sr.Spark Developer* *Mason, Ohio* *Long Term* *Detail Job description:* · Minimum 5-7 years of experience on building reliable and scalable Spark based offering · Willing to solve challenging problems at the core execution layer of the Spark engine · Strong Java functional programming skills · 3-4 years of solid system development experience leveraging a variety of the following technologies: · Hadoop: HDFS, Hive, Spark, HBase, Impala · Application Development: Java, Python, Scala · Data-Layer Development: NoSQL, Relational · Application Design: Model-View-Controller (MVC), Object Oriented, RESTful services / APIs · Significant experience on MongoDB or any other NoSQL based development · Strong analytical skills with a passion for testing · Excellent problem solving and debugging skills · Team collaboration maintaining exceptional code, architecture and documentation · Detail oriented with a commitment to innovation · History of open source contribution is a plus · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
