What You Will Be Doing An Operations resource who will be dedicated to a new strategic Comcast platform. The resource will: Manage all deployments, setup infrastructure, support testing and troubleshooting for various components Automate applicable processes and deployments Create and maintain documentation, Work with other Comcast entities, reach out to stakeholders and attend conference bridge sessions Display initiative in improving the ecosystem. Work closely with developers, testers and other administrators as part of a larger team After hours support for the ecosystem Demonstrates senior-level responsibility and follow up. Is conversant with administering and maintaining Linux (CentOS) servers. Has familiarity working in a Cloud environment and Atlassian tools. Is capable of troubleshooting server or VM issues and monitoring applications. Can deploy applications and has extensive experience with scripting tools and technologies. Can write automation scripts for a variety of administrative functions Administer Kafka, Storm, upgrade OS, Familiarity with Hadoop and can work in a large scale big data environment.
