* Position : Peoplesoft HRMSLocation : Midtown, NYCDuration : 6-12+Months In-person interview a mustNeed Local To NJ, OR NY Responsibilities:*Run the production year-end PeopleSoft Payroll cycles, and assist the Payroll Tax Supervisor to ensure all year-end tax withholding and reporting are accurate; PeopleSoft Payroll year end projects Apply, test and implement year end PS tax updates (implementation dates mid-November, mid-December) Apply year end load/validation projects, including TIAA annual retroactive adjustments (Employer; Additional Credit) Run and validate year end processing as tasks are assigned Assist with production work that requires PeopleSoft HRMS/Payroll functional/technical analysis and skills, including and not limited to validation of data loaded to the data warehouse; Assist with the changeover implementation in January 2017 to using ADP Smart Compliance to report and reconcile tax payments from in-house tax payments and reporting. Assist with the changeover implementation in March/April 2017 from using PeopleSoft with ADP Smart Compliance to using Workday with ADP Smart Compliance. Work Plan and Milestones PeopleSoft Payroll year end projects Apply, test and implement year end PS tax updates (implementation dates November 17, possibly again in mid-December) The final payroll of the year is processed on December 27, 2016. Apply off-cycle year-end pay period adjustments to be included on W-2 tax forms as needed in late December and early January; Run the iterative PeopleSoft year-end cycle as frequently as needed to apply the adjustments – Final cycle due on or about January 12, 2017; Assist Payroll Tax Supervisor with PeopleSoft tax data validation and reconciliation, and any other production support tasks, as needed; Apply and validate an off-cycle year end load for TIAA deductions (Employer; Additional Credit) annual retroactive adjustments, in or about late January 2017. Validate various payroll loads to the data warehouse against Excel exports from the data warehouse. ADP Smart Compliance Implementation with PeopleSoft Assist with testing, documenting and implementing use of ADP Smart Compliance for Employment Tax Payments and Reporting (implementation effective January 1, 2017) ADP Smart Compliance conversion from PeopleSoft to Workday Assist with testing and validating that ADP Smart Compliance tax payments and reporting functions transfer smoothly when Workday goes live (testing throughout December, January, February; go live in March 2017) ------------------------------ Regards: Amer Ali - Sr.IT Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc.
