*Please send resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Job title: Business Analyst Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NC *In person interview* Rate: $45-50/hr on C2C The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Business Analyst contractor for an approximately 12 month engagement for the Department's PMO Organization supporting the Enterprise Document & Imaging Management System Project. This project is required to replace the current imaging capture and retention solution for hardcopy documents as required by law which is at end of life and no longer supported. The Business Analyst will be responsible for development of business requirements, test plans, test scripts and assisting with maintenance of project management tracking. This individual will be knowledgeable in all aspects of business analysis, testing and has a basic understanding of project management and system development life cycle. The individual must have proven experience with enterprise level development projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with NCDOT’s Project Manager in assisting with solution documentation and project management tools to meet State IT requirements. Role responsibilities: Analyze, define, and document requirements for work flow and business processes Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned Work with the PMO Manager, Project Manager, Business Customer and project team Develop and document test plans, scenarios and scripts Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects Consult with users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solution to meet Change Management needs Provide quality control for project deliverables Experience in business process analysis Required7Years Experience working at program level and coordination of deliverables across multiple projects Required5Years Working knowledge of application development life cycle Required7Years String analytical and conceptual skills Required7Years Working knowledge of business improvement process and industry best practices Required5Years Experience with MS Office Suite Required7Years Experience developing and documenting use cases, test plans, scenarios, and scripts Required5Years Experience with testing and documentation of test results Required5Years Working knowledge of document and imaging managements applications and tools.
