Job Title: Project/Solution Architect Location: Eagan, Minnesota Duration: 6 months+ (Contract) Qualifications · The Crew Reroute (CRR) Replacement Project Architect will take part in Client’s initiative to redesign the organization’s current CRR optimization system, eliminating the use of outdated and unsupported technology components. · This candidate’s primary objective will be to design an application integrating multiple data sources for display and use in identifying routing problems and potential solutions. · The application will display complex data sets and operational capability in a native and intuitive look and feel for several different user sets with varying levels of permissions and complexity of functional needs. · Creation of thick clients in .NET or Java is preferred. · The project architect for this position should have a strong background in heuristic analysis, and understand optimization rules affecting overall routing solution. · The candidate must also have experience in product suite integration and implementation. · The Crew Reroute Replacement Project Architect must have experience on multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous applications. · The candidate needs experience in creating, socializing and leading the architecture of multiple sub-solutions of a large project through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). · The project architect performs in a variety of different roles in the project life cycle. Responsibilities · The role requires the individual to be responsible for the execution of the overall solution design for the assigned project. · The architect identifies and translates system requirements into a prescribed architecture blueprinting and guide process by building/maintaining the necessary project artifacts. · The role reports to the Principal Architect and requires collaboration with the Domain Architect, Project Manager, and IT Portfolio Manager. · This architect role provides leadership to the IT development team lead and the developers to ensure the solution is achieved through the delivery of the approved technology.
