Position:  SAP HANA Consultant with IBP and some S&OP
Location:  Houston, TX
Duration:  6+ Months

Requirement:
Must have the IBP and some S&OP.
This role will work with Customer Solutions Leads and business clients to
design and implement global solutions using standard SAP as well as other
systems interfaced with SAP to support the business process in the Global
IT Application - Supply Chain Group for the Integrated Business Planning
(IBP) solution.
This role is responsible for:
Understanding business needs and leading thoughtful design discussions
around meeting those business needs in a standard manner fully leveraging
SAP product capabilities.
Working with Customer Solutions analysts and business personnel to
understand Supply Chain, Sales & Operations Planning (including production
planning and scheduling), and IBP business processes and provide the
technology to support these processes.
Based on requirements submitted by the business, developing detailed
functional and technical specifications for changes to SAP systems.
Working with Customer Solutions analysts and business personnel to
understand Supply Chain, Strategy & Operations Planning (including
production planning and scheduling), and IBP business processes and provide
the technology to support these processes.
Providing best fit solution to design production planning and scheduling
process, based on standard SAP IBP functionality. However, where necessary,
customizing to fulfill the needs of the business should be also explored.
Provide overall architecture recommendation
Provide best practices in IBP
Consulting with ABAP developers and provide technical specs to develop
customized solutions.
Consulting with other custom code developers and provide technical specs
for interfaced solutions.
Performing unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development,
etc.) in development and staging environments, including regression testing
of functionality that may be impacted by change.
Coordinating long chain testing where appropriate of changes
(configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging
environments.
Performing testing and creating relevant data, so that business user gets
to test error free system design or with minimal error.
Providing prototypes and implementation of new functionality based on
client needs.
Providing support for other activities that impact the system, such as
configuration changes to support changing business conditions, SAP ECC
upgrades, application of hot packs, project work, etc.
Providing ad hoc training and consulting to business super users as
required in run and maintain activities, such as remedial training, issue
resolution, etc.
EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated proficiency in IBP functionalities, including experience
implementing allocation, availability.
Aware of multilevel IBP design.
Strong integration knowledge with APO, ECC and HANA
Sales and Operations planning functions
HANA functional expertise and 10+ years SAP experience required.
Technical leadership experience in architecting and collaborating with
business process architect groups to develop efficient technical solutions
in the areas of IBP and S&OP.
Leadership in development, implement and support of global initiatives at
various time zones.
Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users,
such as prototyping and creating business presentations, or articulating
and selling best practices to business executives
