This position is a combination of a business consultant, SME, and a
touch of Architect thrown in.  The candidate will support the Sales
SDG team for the Compliance Process Automation program.
Overview
Seeking an Oracle Configurator and Quoting expert to work with
technical and functional IT teams to analyze, design and support a
project involving Oracle 11i Configurator, Quoting and related e-
Business applications. The actual development will be done by an SDG
team.  Knowledge of Order Management, BOM, Advancing Pricing, Install
Base, and Sales, and Service Contracts is a real plus.

Responsibilities
- Provide development and production support for the Oracle
Configurator and Quoting modules
- Identify and propose technical solutions that meet business
requirements
- Perform problem analysis, design, support, and unit testing for new
development and production support
- Create technical specifications and unit test plans
- Develop accurate work effort estimates
- Code Configurator and Quoting extensions
- Work with Functional and Technical IT teams, End-Users, DBA Team,
Operations, and Infrastructure Teams as required on design,
development, and support initiatives

Qualifications
- College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study
- 7 or more years of IT experience in design, development, debugging,
and production support of Oracle e-Business applications
- Minimum 3 years experience working with Oracle11i Configurator and
Quoting modules
- Minimum 3 plus years experience working experience working with the
Install Base, Advanced Pricing, Order Management, BOM, Sales, and
Service Contracts modules
- Must have experience in the following development languages and
tools: Oracle 11i Configurator Application Development Tools, Oracle
Quoting, Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA J2EE, JSP, HTML
- Proven implementation experience with the Oracle Configurator
components of the Configurator Developer and Configurator Runtime
- Excellent understanding of the Configurator and Quoting Schemas
- Ability to use Configurator Developer components to create model
structures, rule definitions, UI designs, and functional companions
for Configurator extensions
- Ability to design and develop Functional Companions for complex
business rules that can not be implemented using Oracle Configurator
Developer.
- Good integration knowledge between Oracle Configurator, Advanced
Pricing, Contracts, and Quoting
- Ability to analyze requirements, perform gap assessments, module
configuration, and maintenance for the Oracle Configurator and Quoting
Modules
- Thorough understanding of Configurator-APIs for integration and
extensions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, team oriented, and
passionate about their work
