Position : Systems Engineer -Architect
Location : El Segundo, CA
Duration : 6+ Months
*Skills: Note experience on Hulu or NetFlix will be a deal breaker.*
Responsibilities:
10+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in
the Entertainment & Media industry
Experience in coming up with high-level architectural design and technology
roadmaps
Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based
applications preferred
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills,
with strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate
without guidance
Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions
with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills.
Ability to influence others with ideas and proposed architecture options
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt
and change priorities as the business needs change
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability
to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
Experience in Broadcast/broadband Television, Video-On-Demand, Pay Per View
Understanding of video encoding, streaming and downloading on Internet
Understanding of digital rights management
Understanding of video content management
Understanding of mobile technologies (mobile phones, tablets)
Experience in identity management and industry standard frameworks such as
OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML etc.
