Position : Sr Wi-fI Developer
Location : Richardson, TX
Duration : 6-12 Months
Responsibilities:
This position requires being a key reference point for the team on
wi-fi and Wireless LAN device roaming related issues. Apart from
evangelizing the wifi and WLAN roaming needs within the team, the following
will be necessary
Develop wifi protocol layer software for voice and video endpoint devices.
Trouble-shooting complex customer issues including recreation, problem
isolation, analysis, fix and verification .
Develop products using the development process, Unit Test, Code Review and
Static Analysis .
Maintain software of existing IP Telephony Products including implementing
enhancements .
Resolve complicated design issues, mitigate the design issues quickly .
Work with multiple teams in different time zones around the world to get
the
complicated issue resolved quickly and with highest quality .
Setup VOIP system to reproduce customer complaints, especially the
intermittent issues, using scripts or automated tools.
Primary Skills:
Programming Language: C, Linux, RTOS -- Embedded domain
Development experience – develop, unit test, integrate, release and build C
code on linux systems,
Wi-Fi or WiFi (/'wa? fa?/) ,WLAN
Protocols or Standards: 802.11 b/g/n/c,
Sr level wi-fi expert who understands protocols, wifi security protocols
(WEP ,WPA-PSK (TKIP, WPA-PSK (AES)), roaming and embedded space
