*No H1B OR OPT'S Requirements:* Four years report writing experience in a government setting using Oracle and PeopleSoft and associated reporting software (e.g. Crystal Reports, Oracle Discoverer, or Hyperion). Experience must include incorporation of multiple data sources that contain data related to Oracle and PeopleSoft applications: Four plus years writing SQR and SQL statements: Two years experience with reading and understanding customized PeopleSoft programs, Application Objects, People Code, SQRs, and SQLs: Two years experience using at least two of the following tools: Toad, Beyond Compare, SQL Plus, and PS Query: Two years experience in developing performance optimized queries: *Job Description:* The Company uses the Oracle Hyperion software to prepare and produce financial statements. Company uses information from the Statewide Financial System, an Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise System, and other information feeds in this business process. Reporting is done on monthly, quarterly and annual intervals and is done on multiple accounting bases. Hyperion is one tool used for preparing financial statements from the data in the Statewide Financial System and other external systems. Implementation of Hyperion was facilitated by consulting resources. This implementation was completed to the standards of our base requirements. The intent was to ensure that the product would meet our needs and have a positive return on investment. With that intent behind us, Company has a need for additional knowledge and assistance to effectively use the features of Hyperion. Company needs assistance with its business related needs to effectively utilize the Hyperion product. These business needs include, but are not limited to: Understanding all forms of Company requirements (business, stakeholder, functional, non-functional, business rules) Understanding Company’s implementation of Hyperion against requirements Assessing where Company’s implementation of Hyperion does not best fit requirements Recommending, and leading the deployment of, changes to Company’s implementation of Hyperion to best fit requirements Developing and updating system documentation, training materials, and other user documentation where needed Performing training and other forms of knowledge-sharing with staff Troubleshooting of Hyperion error messages ------------------------------ Regards: Amer Ali - Sr.IT Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc.
