We’re looking for a DBA candidate who can not only perform typical/traditional DBA tasks such as managing the overall administration of the Microsoft SQL Server database environment, but we also need someone with hands on experience in: Evaluating/analyzing 3rd party systems to interpret how their data and capabilities align with existing systems Reverse-engineering 3rd party database structures to pull information out of these systems. Utilizing SQL development skills (e.g. database design, indexing, use of keys, creating stored procedures, functions and triggers). Synchronizing data between different applications/databases. Minimum Qualifications and Skills: 3+ years experience with database design, administration, or development with Microsoft SQL Server. Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Ability to lead projects to successful completion Thorough understanding of Windows based computer applications and operating systems Basic understanding database application development techniques. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task is essential. Experience with Latitude Recovery Management software is a strong plus. Experience with VB .net is a strong plus DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combined education and experience. 3+ years experience with database design, administration, or development.
