- The InformaCast engineer will be provided training and support of
InformaCast (Singlewire) to implement the below tasks/features.
- Upgrade InformaCast server software from 9.0.2 to the latest available
version that is supported on the Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version
installed at TxDOT.
- Deploy configuration for the following
- phones for phone-to-phone paging on TxDOT Cisco Voice Over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) phones
- send text messages to display on TxDOT Cisco Voice Over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) phones
- Enable the jabber plug-in in InformaCast so that security incident
notifications can be sent silently to all TxDOT desktops/laptops.
- Create paging groups, of Internet Protocol (IP) devices, for all 376
TxDOT sites. District offices and Area offices might require more than 1
paging group but the maintenance and administrative offices will only
require 1 group per site. A total of not more than 575 [(50 large sites X
5) + (326 regular sites)] paging groups of Internet Protocol (IP) devices
are expected to be created for all 376 TxDOT sites. If more groups are
required then additional time maybe required. Also create a PIN number for
each paging group, in order to make paging messages secure by VOIP phone.
- Create InformaCast login credentials for up to 2 administrators per
site, in order to send pre-recorded paging messages for all 376 TxDOT
sites. A total of not more than 752 administrator logins are expected to be
created. If additional logins are required then additional time maybe
required. These administrator logins will be used to send site-specific
security notifications.
- Implement ability to monitor, alert and record 911 emergency call
monitoring for all 376 sites.

*Qualifications:*
- Technical Lead role must have strong development skills in Salesforce
(and FinancialForce experience preferred) and must be capable of guiding
other developers on the team.
- This is similar to a Lead Developer role. Responsible to review the code
written by other developers, help resolve development/coding issues and
ensure that code is written as per salesforce best practices as well as
that is written with performance tuning in mind.
- Should have strong experience with writing apex code, developing visual
force pages, writing apex triggers, apex classes, visual force controllers,
workflows/approval rules using custom code etc.
- Must be proficient in writing apex code to satisfy complex business logic.
- Must work closely with technical architects as needed.
- Must be able to review the code related to customization as well that of
integration.
- Should be capable of hands on development as well as guiding the
technical team.
- This resource is also expected to participate in daily stand up meetings
as well as all other activities normally expected from a scrum team.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development capacity
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices using apex and visualforce
- Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns
- 5-8 years of direct consulting experience
- Multiple Saleforce certifications preferred
